Breast Asymmetry

It is common to notice some asymmetries between your breasts, and a classic saying in plastic surgery is to focus on the breasts “as sisters and not identical twins”. That being said, there are some asymmetries that are more noticeable than others, which can impact your self esteem and comfort with your body.  Breast asymmetry surgery focuses on what these noticeable asymmetries are, and provides you with more balanced result. This may involve the use of several surgical techniques, including the use of breast implants to increase the volume, or a breast reduction, to reduce the overall size to match the other side. A mastopexy (breast lift) is another technique to give better shape or re-position the nipple.  Whether it is making one breast larger or smaller, or addressing differences in shape or contour, or nipple position and size, Dr. Ho would be happy to discuss your concerns and identify how to best to help you achieve your ideal breast appearance.

Breast Asymmetry Surgery Considerations
